when it comes to love:
The attentive ear.
The assuring hug.
The bottomless well
of supportive thoughts
and behaviors.
I offer them freely
as if she needs me,
but she's not looking for a savior.

and never has.

She wants someone
secure enough
to never spaz
out when she's out
with a friend for a laugh.
She is the embodiment of

but even she craves
